Best & worst dressed at the BAFTAS 2014

As many of you may know Sunday was BAFTA day and there was some stylish lads and lassies attending. In this post I'm going to be showing you all who I feel were the best and worst dressed this year.

Best

Lupita Nyong’o

The actress looked stunning in her green Dior dress. Defiantly best dressed in my eyes.

Samantha Barks

Les Miserables actress Samantha Barks looked beautifully elegant and classy in this Calvin Klein dress.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

 I love the whole matching outfits angelina and Brad are      wearing here and thing Angelina has definatly pulled off the look in her Saint Laurent tux.

Worst

Lily Allen

This dress speaks for its self, I'm sorry lily but this is a no go, the huge bow adds to the awful look.

Maggie Gyllenhaal

I am defiantly not loving the high, heavily jeweled neckline of this dress, love the lace sleeves though.

Liebster Award

Hi guys! So i was nominated by lovely Shelby  for the Liebster Award! Firstly I would like to thank my family, my friends, my fans and everyone who has supported with my blog, especially my nominator Shelby, because if it wasn't for you then i wouldn't be writing out this post and I am very thankful for you.
That's usually what they say when you win an award, isn't it? No, but really I am over the moon to be writing out this post and I thank you all.
If you don't know what the Liebster Award is, it's an award a blogger who has under 200 followers is awarded from another blogger, you have to answer the questions the blogger who nominated you for the award has set out for you, write your own questions and then tag other bloggers with less than 200 followers to do this blog aswell!

What is your top five TV shows or movies?
Ima go for Percy Jackson and the lightening thief and Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters, I absolutely adore the Percy Jackson movies there so amazing, by far my all time favorite movies, I've seen them both about 30 times and Logan Lerman is a hottie as well so that's a plus. The Hunger Games, Catching fire and Criminal minds.

If you could have only one beauty item, what would it be?
Definitely mascara, I couldn't live without it, I just look weird when i'm not wearing any.

What is a nickname your family or friends call you?
I don't have any nicknames, I would be called 'Bro' the odd time though by certain people

Who is your favorite YouTuber/YouTubers
Definitely sunbeamsjess, i absolutely love her please check her out she is the absolute best, she's a beauty and fashion blogger from London and she has the coolest hair ever, because of her I plan to dye the ends of my hair turquoise over the summer.

Do you have any pets? 
I do, I have a beautiful springer spaniel called snowie. I can't wait till it snows properly so I can take a picture of her and caption 'Snowie playing in the snow' because i'm easily amused like that.

what is your best/favorite beauty tip?
My best beauty tip would be how i keep my skin acne free, I blogged about this  if you want to check that out.

What item could you not live without?
I probably couldn't live without my phone, i'm only slightly obsessed with it, I need to be sent to rehab.

What pushed you to start blogging?
I wish i could say that i started blogging to share my love for beauty and fashion with the world but in reality i started this blog to avoid studying for a GCSE exam I had, because i'm just that good of a student, i'm going to have fun resitting that paper so i'm not. But I was interested in blogging before that and had been tinking about starting one, but the exam was the ultimate deciding factor.

Where do you wish you could go on holiday/vacation next?
I really want to go on a holiday to Australia to visit my uncle who lives out there, I also want to see a Koala 'cause Koala's are cool dudes.

What is/ was your favorite subject at school?
My favorite subject at school is Geography, I just find it so interesting, next to that would be Biology for the same reasons. I hope to be a Biologist or Geologist when i'm older.

New year, new me, my epiphany

ertain things happened today to make me feel like a horrible person. It wasn't anything I said or did to anyone, but I had an epiphany and reluctantly realised that I am doing absolutely nothing with my life, I realise that what my family say is right and that I focus solely on the negative rather than the positive and I am determined to make a change.
This year, although it may be a tiny bit late, my new years resolution is to change myself. I will challenge myself to become physically fitter, eat healthier, talk to more people, become more tolerant of people, focus more on school and to focus on the positive rather than the negative this year. Starting from now.
New year, New me, that's what they say, isn't it?

Ring Haul

I recently acquired some new rings to add to my ever growing collection of them, I seriously have so many that I could probably set up a shop and sell only the rings I have right now for the rest of eternity- of course that's an exaggeration but you get it , I have a lot. I got these on the same day as I got the things that I mentioned in my beauty haul. These are the newest babies to join my finger family.

This is a midi ring but i don't like putting it on any fingers other than my pinkie

Sorry about the finger fat in this one, i decided to get a small ring instead of a medium as i thought it would fit good when i was in the shop but it doesn't :( I really do hate the way shops package rings.

Again, a midi ring i decided didn't look right on other fingers.

And that's them all! I didn't get many this time as i was trying to control myself. All these rings are from NewLook.

Baby lips, is it worth the hype?

Baby lips, what is all the hype about? This Is a question I find myself thinking about. You've heard

of them before and if you haven't, well then I hope your rock is comfy, pictures of these balms paint our instagram feed, People rave about how moisturising these lip balms are and worship the colour and smell of them, but personally I do not see what this instagram obsession is about.
I am the unfortunate owner of two of these balms one in intense care and one in cherry me which is a sheer raspberry colour.
If I'm being honest, the colour and smell raves are true, these balms smell absolutely devine and look it too but it is the texture, longativity and the fact that it makes my lips drier than they were before that bothers be. These balms go on uncomfortably thick and are uncomfortable on my lips, they only moisturise for a few minutes- ten tops before the drying effects kick in. I have seen on twitter before that most lip balms contain something which makes your lips chapped so that you use more balm and I have to say, maybelline squirted a whole bottle of that stuff into these.

After about a week of wearing baby lips everyday my lips are in horrible condition, chapped, cut and uncomfortable was not what I paid for. I honestly would not recommend these to my biggest enemy, there that bad and please, take my advise and don't be a sheep like I was, go get yourself some carmex instead, now that stuff's good.

Beauty haul

As always I went into boots for a few specific items and as always I came out with more than intended and of course, because I'm me I forgot all about what I came there to get and left without them, typical. Boots is magical to me, without fail as soon as I step foot through those doors I make an automatic beeline to the makeup aisle and I don't come back empty handed, ever. I thankfully didn't do too much damage in this particular outing but I thought I'd show y'all what I got.

Cotton buds- I use these for fixing up eye make up 

Rimmel kate matte lipstick in the shade 110 , a beautiful coral lipstick, It's comming out a bit pink on camera though

Sinful colours in the shade black on black. The reason I got two blacks was to attempt to do the whole black matte nail with a shiny black tip that I see all the time on instagram- I failed
